Internacional de Alimentos Procesados S.A. de C.V. (IAPSA), was the first company with Freeze Dry technology for fruits and vegetables in Mexico. In that year, collaboration strategies began to market IAPSA products together with FDF Gmbh and FDP USA in Europe and the United States respectively.

IAPSA changed its name to Agroindustrias del Centro S.A. de C.V. (ACSA) now as a marketer of dehydrated ingredients and began selling ingredients from FDP USA.

Surfrut, a Chilean dehydrated ingredients company, became a strategic supplier for FDP.

Food Alliance was born, uniting the Groneweg Group with Surfrut and ACSA, offering dehydrated ingredients in Europe, the United States, China and Latin America. In addition, we opened our offices in Chile.

ACSA was formally established as FDF Latin America. That same year our plant in China began to operate.

To serve a constantly growing market, we opened our offices in Brazil.
